Nils ultimately lost a battle against Sei Iori and Reiji’s GAT-X105B/ST Star Build Strike Gundam, and he later joined in the effort to contain the Arista crystal in the PPSE stadium. For the race portion of the tournament, Nils utilized a replica of the mobile horse Fuunsaiki from the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam. The Sengoku Astray could also perform a special attack called the Particle Fa Jin that used Plavsky particles to destroy an opponent’s Gunpla from within. The suit’s pair of samurai swords were covered in a special coating that allowed them to cut through beams.
Nils customized the Red Frame with his Japanese aesthetic, which extended to the naming of its armaments. It was based on the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame from the 2002-03 manga series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY. The 侍ノ弐 Sengoku Astray Gundam was a custom Gunpla built by Nils Nielsen.
